Module 2: Land Use Land Cover Classification

    This map provides a visualization of ten different Land Use/ Land Cover Classifications and 30 randomly selected sample points providing a simple true or false to show what was determined based off of the accuracy assessment. Each polygon feature provides a code as well as a code description to provide a visualization of what each area is classified as. By using the accuracy assessment, I was able to compare this image to a recent google maps view of the same part of Pascagoula, Mississippi, this is where the 30 sample points come in. Under the red dots are areas that were proved to be a different classification and under the green dots are areas that were proven to be classified correctly. This map was made by using the Elements of Image Interpretation.
