Module 1: Identifying Texture and Tone Map
Module 1: Identifying Texture and Tone Map
In Module 1, there were three maps that were created : Comparing true color and false color IR, identifying features using a certain criteria, and finally identifying textures and tones. By creating two polygon feature classes, one for the different tones and one for the different textures. Each red feature class provides an example of tones ranging from very dark to very light. Each purple feature class provides an example of textures ranging from very coarse to very fine. This gives a visual representation of the different tones and textures that can be identified in an image and how they can be used to show high density neighborhoods or distinguish one object from another.
